Give your child the gift of nature with a week of EcoCamp at Pickering Creek Audubon Center. EcoCamp provides children with the freedom to explore and experience the outdoors in a safe and fun environment. EcoCamp encourages curiosity, exploration, and investigation that can lead to a greater understanding of the natural world and a lifelong appreciation for our environment. Each day is filled with fun activities like swimming, ponding, marsh mucking, hiking, crafts, nature-themed games, canoeing, fishing, meeting animals, and birding that take campers on adventures all over Pickering Creek’s 400 acres.

Registration packets and deposits can be mailed or dropped-off at the office or, faxed or emailed along with a photocopy of the deposit. Reservations cannot be made over the phone. The programs we offer are very popular and we expect multiple weeks to sell out quickly.
Scholarships are available for students in need to attend this year’s EcoCamp thanks to a generous grant from Wild Birds Unlimited, the National Fish and Wildlife Federation, and charitable donations from community members like you. Scholarships do not include the non-refundable deposit. Review the scholarship application on February 1st for more information.
At the end of each camp, parents and guardians will receive a link to pictures taken of their camper’s group throughout the week. Your camper can use the pictures to talk more about all the fun things they did at EcoCamp. Then, come out with the entire family for our Family Camp Evening on Friday, July 21st from 4 pm to 7 pm so your camper may tour you around Pickering; introduce you to our program animals, fish from our dock, picnic by the water, and canoe along the creek.
